This stinger is heavy duty and does perform well!The only downside is when I go to out my rod in the top insert it doesn’t grab that easy. I find myself wasting more time to get it clamped down than I am stringing an arc. Instead of using the top hole for overhead welding I put it in the side insert instead and just bend my welding rod up. It is much faster and easier. 5 stars if the top insert worked as good as the side.
