Created in collaboration with Opeth frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt, this unique signature model features a torrefied spruce top, a three-piece Guatemalan rosewood back, and an East Indian rosewood wedge, offering a dramatic visual and tonal presence. Designed for playability, it’s the first traditional Martin with a Low Profile Velocity neck, combining the speed and feel of an electric guitar with a full 25.4” scale length. The ebony fingerboard, inlaid with black mother-of-pearl Roman numerals, adds a shadowy, personal touch, while VTS-treated spruce and Golden Era scalloped X-bracing provide vintage warmth, responsiveness, and exceptional clarity.  Black Liquidmetal® bridge pins, flamed maple binding, and bold herringbone trim complete its striking aesthetics.
