A striking Art Deco bracelet in deep black Bakelite, set with large, brilliantly cut rhinestones across the front links. The stones are finely polished and produce vivid flashes of colour, remaining bright and clear with no discolouration. The semi-circular links are shaped flat to the wrist for a comfortable fit, with rhinestones applied to one half of the bracelet, allowing it to be worn either as a bold statement or with a more understated all-black presentation. The double stretch bands appear to have been professionally restored and are firm and flexible. The bracelet presents in excellent condition, with no damage or losses and a soft, even patina. Dimensions approx.: Inner wrist diameter 45cm relaxed, expanding to over 60cm; each link 1.7cm x 2.4cm x 0.8cm; rhinestones 1cm diameter; total weight 55.5g.U.S.A., circa 1930s.
