A Lovely Art Deco Solid Bakelite Yellow Marbled Bangle

A highly desirable Art Deco Bakelite bangle in rich mustard yellow, a colour long prized by collectors for its warmth and depth. The surface is finely carved with a flowing central wave, flanked by delicate leaf motifs, creating a beautifully balanced and tactile design. Of medium proportions with a softly domed exterior and flat inner face, it sits comfortably on the wrist and carries a confident presence. Equally striking worn alone or layered with complementary or contrasting bangles. Presented in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or losses, the surface retains a gentle aged patina and displays beautifully. Early Bakelite in this colour and carved finish is becoming increasingly difficult to source, with many examples now held in private collections and rarely returning to the market.
