Description We have upgraded our cutting board with some surprises! The new design comes with four anti-slip silicone tips for the sides so that it is less likely to move around during use. while you can put the board to dry on a drying rack, there is also a hole for hanging the cutting board up for drying. These cutting boards are made of eco-friendly bamboo. We have considered carefully its weight, thickness and sizes so that a toddler can handle it easily. The new board is more substantial and thicker than the last version. It comes lightly oiled on the surface already, but for optimal performance we recommend thorough oiling by your child (and you) every 2-3 weeks. Food grade mineral oil in different sizes are available for purchase separately. A child learns to care for his or her own cutting board by oiling it and conditioning it regularly. This is another work by itself and completes the work cycle. We have developed a wood care kit for this purpose. It is also available for purchase separately. Due to the organic nature of the bamboo cutting boards, each cutting board would have different appearances and the color of engraving can vary between dark and light. This is normal and is to be expected with natural material, and it is not considered as defect. The cutting board measures approximately 26 cm x 18 cm x 1.5 cm.
