Workbench has been great. The garage is not exactly ‘warm’ this time of year and yet its being used a lot. Two design issues with it, first, the drawer is of little use as it just gets filled with sawdust from the dog holes that go down into it. Secondly, the 4 wooden pegs for holding your project in place are made from a piece of wood with a hole in one end which has a dowel half-stuck into it. Were this instead made from a single piece of wood, you wouldn’t be in danger of pulling the peg up and leaving the dowel behind (as happened to me). Design issue 2.5, the dowel/peg should not have to be hammered into the holes! I’m not sure if the idea is to give you your first smattering of easy-to-fix projects, but if so, it’s just perfect! I’m enjoying it immensely.
