The overtravel stop installs in your upper receiver to prevent over-insertion of your charging handle. This protects both your charging handle and upper receiver from wear and tear and lengthens the service life of your FX-9. Please note after installation if you need to remove your rail DO NOT twist your rail until you have removed the overtravel stop or you will break it.
