An authentic Alexander McQueen necklace crafted in bronze-toned metal, composed of varying lengths of Figaro chain for layered texture and visual interest. The centrepiece is a striking Memento Mori skull pendant, flanked by faux pearls on either side. Four smaller skulls are positioned inline along the chain, accented by additional pearls, creating balance and subtle movement throughout the design. A tiny skull detail finishes the adjustable extension chain, while a substantial bronze lobster claw clasp secures the piece. Hallmarks are clearly present: the full Alexander McQueen name to the reverse of the large skull pendant, further markings to the side of the lobster clasp, and the signature MQ (with c centred) and QUEEN to the heavy disc along the necklace. Presented with the original padded interior box and a named beige linen pouch with red drawstring, all in pristine condition. The necklace is in perfect condition, presenting like new. The skull motif reflects the Latin Memento Mori — “live for the day, for tomorrow you may die” — a recurring and celebrated theme within Alexander McQueen’s design language, highly regarded by collectors worldwide.
