I just started smoking meats and fish and came to Amazon to see if I could get different flavor chunks as I use a charcoal smoker. So far, I’ve used these cherry chunks for fish and the hickory chunks (same brand) for meats. I do not soak the wood prior and just lay them directly on the coals. They produce a lot of smoke almost instantly, and add great flavor t whatever I am smoking. I can do about 5-6 batches of smoking with one bag (I don’t have a really large smoker, does about 2-3 lbs of fish). With the Add-On Item pricing, this really is a no-brainer. Will continue to use as long as pricing/availability is good.
